As a first-generation immigrant, I understand deeply how cultural identity and family dynamics shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others. Navigating cultural expectations, finding a sense of belonging, and understanding intergenerational relationships have been central to my own journey, and they deeply influence how I show up as a therapist.
I’m especially passionate about attachment theory and how our early relationships affect the way we relate to ourselves and those around us. Whether you’re struggling with family conflict, cultural identity, or relationship patterns, I’m here to provide a warm, supportive space where you can feel truly seen and heard.
My approach to therapy is holistic, trauma-informed, and client-centred, emphasizing the unique experiences, strengths and growth potential of each client. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family System, and mindfulness-based approach. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or looking to strengthen self-esteem, I’m here to support you.
As a certified yoga instructor, I’m passionate about integrating mindfulness and somatic techniques into my practice. I truly believe that healing is not a linear process but an ongoing, holistic journey that requires attention to both the mind and body.
My diverse experiences—being a yoga teacher, working on documentary projects focused on poverty, homelessness, mental health, and immigration, and being a immigrant myself—allow me to approach therapy with empathy and compassion, creating a warm and inclusive environment where clients can feel safe, heard, and empowered to heal.
I look forward to meeting you,
