Hi, I'm Margo. I'm looking forward to getting to know you!
Welcome to my page! I’m so glad that you took the time to visit my page to learn more about me and how I can help! As you can see, I am a member of the Black community and through my personal and professional experiences, I am here to help other members of the BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Colour) community.
I am dedicated to helping people find their path through redefining what success means to them in their everyday life.
I help people learn how to navigate everyday life and places of employment by understanding how systemic and racial oppression, colonialism, unresolved trauma, and marginalization can have a significant impact on your mental health as well as the mental health and ability to function as a family.
Here is a bit about me – I am a Black woman, wife, and mother of five children, ranging in ages from 7-21 years old, with an educational background in Social Work. I have over 15 years of professional experience with focus in Child Welfare, post-secondary education, conflict resolution, mentoring, empowerment, diversity, equity and inclusion and strength-based modalities. I believe that our work together starts by addressing exactly where you are presently in your life by breaking down barriers from the past and focusing on what you want to accomplish in your future. Another fun fact about me – I am a Christian and I am able to apply Bible and faith-based principles and support services to that work we are doing together, at your pace.
I am looking forward to the opportunity to get to know you over our secure phone and video system. I am available for 1 hour and 1 ½ hour sessions during the evenings and, as per request, on Saturdays. If you think that I may be the best person to accompany you on your journey, please don’t hesitate to reach out! If not, don’t forget to check out the rest of my team! We’re all here to help!
I look forward to meeting you.
