Katelyn Page - On Your Mind Counselling

Hi there, my name is Katelyn. Welcome to an important step in your journey!

I understand that asking for support can be a challenging, yet a brave first step. It isn’t easy to have the courage to say that you need support and I welcome you here.

You don’t always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go and see what happens.

My name is Katelyn and I am a registered Social Worker. I am a graduate from the University of Windsor where I completed my Masters in Social Work. With my education I bring to you experience working in a variety of fields, from mental health, addictions, social relationships, and palliative care.  In my sessions, I work from a trauma informed, anti-oppressive analysis, appreciating that trauma can be the basis of many challenges individuals may face. My practice is structured with a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational and solution focused interventions. I feel that working from a task centered orientation makes accessing supports easier for individuals and provides room for exploration together in problem solving. I am a motivated, empathetic and goal orientated individual and I bring these values into my practice, helping you to achieve your desired goals; however that best looks to you. Working together we can get you started on your journey to restoring your confidence and worth, aiming for you to become your best self and present that to the world.

I wish all my clients’ success in healing and look forward to working with you.
